Is TF Armada anime?/can I upload it's AMV?

I just made an AMV and want to put it on the site, but before I do, I was wondering if Transformers Armada is classed as "anime" and is it alright to put up an AMV with it's clips up on the site? Some examples of Transformers Armada are here incase you haven't seen it (these aren't screen shots from my newly made AMV, jsut from the show):
