I'm saving up for a new video editing software program. I was wondering if anyone here used VMS for making amvs and if so, is it any good?
I'm looking at it mainly because of the price tag ($129 with PSPX included vs. $850 for Adobe). If anyone could offer some opinions on VMS, or point me toward more worthwhile software, I'd be grateful.
Thanks in advance!
Vegas Movie Studio: Any good?

Read the local reviews here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/help/software/. Look under Vegas Movie Studio, Sony Screenblast, and Sonic Foundry VideoFactory..they're all basically the same.
If you're willing to pay that much, you can still get the full version of Vegas (v6) here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/control ... ype=search.
