Confirming Over Zenith as an anime
I'm new to this site and I recently added a new anime to the list because I want to upload my video. The "anime" is Over Zenith (OZ). It's not actually an anime - it's really a Japanese game. However it does have some anime-like scenes in it. In Europe it goes under the name The Sword of Etheria. It hasn't made it to North America. I'm asking that it be confirmed as an anime, since I want to share my AMV with other people and I see other video games on the list like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Etc. So, can Over Zenith be confirmed as an anime on the site’s list?

There's a review of the game here, How many references do you ask for when confirming new anime?

Fair enough. Here is a website that has a review and information about Over Zenith (OZ):

I believe this is the official website for Over Zenith. It's part of Konami's official Japanese website, so it's written entirely in Japanese.

These are a bunch of sites that contain reviews and information about The Sword of Etheria, which is the European version of Over Zenith (OZ).

In my AMV I used Over Zenith cutscenes, but the game is commonly associated with its European counterpart. I hope this is enough to convince you that this is a game worthy to be on the site's anime list. If you need any more references, I'll try to find some more.

Hmm, I'm not sure about you, but that seems more than a fair amount of reasons why to allow OZ to be known as an Anime. Lunar Tides is right; if Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts could be confirmed as Anime, and the cutscenes of them are pretty 3D (not 2D, like Anime should be, if you get what I mean), then OZ should, too. OZ has more Anime-styled cutscenes then alot of Final Fantasies, that's for sure.

That has nothing to do with the reasoning at all. Providing official references is pretty standard procedure for this kind of thing.Hibiki_Inryoku wrote:
