The Guides or me? You Decide!!

Post by CHAMELEON_D_H » Sat Jul 01, 2006 5:35 am

And so, I was setting my project in Premiere 2 for the first time, and something just whouldn't fit in the normal procedure. It was the Video settings. I went to see the guide for consult.

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... setup.html

It shows 720 X 480 @ 1.0 PAR, which ends in 3:2.

Shouldn't it be
720 X 480 @ 0.9 PAR (4:3, to keep the correct PAR without resize) , or
640 X 480 @ 1.0 PAR, (again 4:3, but after resizing) ?

Am I going crazy to miss something like that for 3 years, or just plain stupid?

Thanks in advance.

It's more like Do "720 X 480 @ 1.0 PAR", and do the corrections yourself so long as it equals out in the end.

Okey, it kind of makes sense it will work out.
But also, I think that editing in 640 X 480 will be better since that is that is my desired final resolution, and will have a nice affect on the size of the huffies :)

Thanks
