Video Playback Problems

Ok, i just picked up the DVD Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I can play it on my Laptop and it works just fine, i can play it on other DVD players, and it works just fine, but when i try to play it on my new DVD (Philips 622?) it doesnt want to playback right...any suggestion? As for the movie, its a crime comedy and probably one of the better films i've seen within the last year or 2.

It sounds like the player might just be defective. If you just bought it recently, take it back to the store and get a new one.

Is it an import or all-region DVD?
