help what program to use ?

can sum1 plz tell me what propper program i can use
so far ive made a few amv's with media player but they are just downloaded clips
i would like to no if there are any programs that can take a dvd and cut clips from that i dont no if there are any(well ive serched for free downloadable programs)
plz if anybody knows of a good program that will help me plz email me at

You want this.

Right at the top there is a link that'll let you download a package of every program you'll ever need for making an AMV (short of the actual editing program itself - although, by all rights, Virtual Dub can be used for that, too).

That page is also the site's main technical guide. It has just about everything you need to know. The other How To guides can fill you in on anything else you'd like to learn, too.

Or if you really want to write everithing but the "@" and the ".". This is so that spammers won't get your mail.
