Otakuthon 2006 - June 10 & 11, 2006 - Montreal, Quebec

Hi there everyone,

Otakuthon 2006 is a new Anime convention to be held in Montreal, Quebec on June 10 & 11, 2006. The con will take place on the Sir George Williams campus of Concordia University located in the downtown area.

Otakuthon will host many activities and events that will feature Anime, Manga, video games, artwork, J-pop/J-rock music, Japanese culture and special guests.

Since this is our 1st year, we decided not to hold an AMV contest. Instead we are putting out an open call for AMVs and Fan Parodies to be shown during our AMV/Parody time blocks or as filler between anime series.

General Admission is FREE! Only the masquerade and the musical show will cost $5 (CDN) to watch.
