Locking topics in Anime Series discussions...

I know it's not likely that more discussion will start after three months, but the Anime Series Discussion board is organized around topics for each show, and if someone has a new question about said series they would have to ask for a new thread at the moment...or do the moderators just unlock the threads as needed? Seems like it would be easier to just leave all the threads unlocked.

You basically make the same request on that request thread, and then Paizuri revives them.
