question about vegas 'cookie cutters'

i just wanted to know if there's any way to customize cookie cutters, like make ur own shapes and stuff (other then the ones provided already). If there is, lemme no. If there isn't ... lemme no that too so i don't keep tryin to figure it out.

well you can combine multiple boxes to form a line and stuff =P
i don't think there's a way, but you can just cut out the shape you need with the pen/mask tool in pan crop. =]

which version of vegas do you have?

if i recall correctly Vegas 4 (aka Sony Vegas Movie Studio + DVD) doesnt have the masking options that Vegas 5 + has....

O.o

I've done the combine multiple boxes to get the shape i want only once

anyways, masking would be a better option, you would have more controll over it.

I have vegas 6, so it should have that stuff. Thanx! i'll try it out and see how it turns out ...if it doesn't go well, u'll be hearing from me again! lol

in vegas6... if you right click the clip and go into the motion/transform thingy (i think thats right... should have a window with a view in it and let you transform it and rotate things...) then click the check box at the botom of the window next to "mask". some more tools will show up in the tool box area. you can then use the pen tool to make your on shapes and stuff... yea...

Yeah, it works. thanx for the help guys! my next amv will be 4 u! (or not) hey pwolf, am i unbanned yet? it's so boring outside of #amv ...i'll give u a free op or something! i'v learned my lesson ;_;
