Premiere 6.5... but i've use many others.. doesn't really matter what program you have as long as you know how to use it. of course some programs offer better performance and compatibily with more video and image formats, but out of all the programs i've used, it really didn't matter (except performance).

I REALLY need a program for making a good amv with super preformance effects like an eksampel "Azumanga daioh with 1985 by bowling for soup" That av is probably the best I've ever seen! And I would be SO happy if anyone knewed what program that has being used for making that vid!

Adobe's premiere, After Effects and photoshop, backed up by VDM and avisynth (+ other AMVapp proggies).

Premiere is not that bad once you get used to it, it's AE the kills me over and over....

Before asking, THINK!!! Have you read The Guides, consulted The Wiki and watched The Corn?

if it's the video i'm thinking of, that can be done many different ways with many different programs. Vegas 6.0 can do it without the need of a seperate program.

I use premiere pro 1.5
not the easiest to learn, but I like it a lot.
I recently got After effects 6.5, so I'm looking forward to everything that I'll be able to add

and the amv app is good too, VirtualDub(/Mod) and AviSynth are very helpful tools

Programs dont make good amv's, the thing between the chair and keyboard does. You can stick a monkey infront of premier or wmm, the results will be the same. Likewise a skilled editor can make a great amv with a basic editor.

Truth.

I use Adobe Premiere 6.0 and Adobe Photoshop 7.0, because they are the programs I started out using and have learned and am comfortable with.
