Post by LysCooper » Sat Jan 07, 2006 1:45 pm

Just wondering, but why can't these videos be uploaded to an ipod video. Its sort of bothering me....

I'm sure the ipod video probably requires the videos to adhere to strict standards. You would need to convert your files to meet these standards yourself.

Well.......

Unless you happen to know the EXACT compressor/decompressor that Apple uses I would recomend purchasing a 3rd party utility (turns out its less less expensive.) Though we had success here with H.264 and Quicktime Pro conversions, unless you have QtP already many of the apps on google are cheeper. On top of that I have a copy of SceneScope at my disposal so we're able to cheat alittle bit on the numbers.

Thats also $10 more than you really need to spend. There are a fair number of utilities that encode Ipod as well as PSP video for around $20
