VOB To something adobe premier pro can read

Post by Gaarasan » Fri Dec 16, 2005 4:57 pm

I converted my dvd fine, but I can't find a program that can convert the VOB files to something adobe premier pro can read. I have mpeg encoder, but it loses quality. Anyone know any video converters that still keeps the same dvd quality?

THanks in advance.

Hey Scintilla, with all the discussions about getting Premiere to import and view source files (AVI, MOV, WMV...etc), I don't know if my version of Premiere has a hiccup or not. All I did was to copy the VOB files using DVDshrink and then I used DGindex to create the d2v and avs files. I load up the footage using the AVS instead of turning them into AVIs first. Now the only thing I can think of is the Premiere Plugin for AVS. But in this case, I seem to be going directly to the VOB files via the AVS index.
Hmmmm, your thoughts?

LOL, well, there really isn't a problem, it works great! I was just wondering if it actually is supposed to work. The only thing I don't do is I don't convert the VOB files to AVIs, thought that was a no-no.
