Telling the people, ONCE AGAIN, how they can play the freaking video, since they apparently missed the ffdshow link in my user profile AND in my video info page.SOAD2k8 wrote:Bad idea IMO, the entire point is anonimity, and what is the point in replying to an anonimous comment?
Being able to leave a reply doesn't have to break the anonymity. The creator doesn't have to know to whom he's replying.

what?Michele wrote:In my opinion, it would not be a too good idea, in the end, quick comments are... Quick comments! So, since they are even anonimous, I think that it's good as it is now.
I think you're confused. This has nothing to do with anonymity, but rather answering the foolish people who ask questions on a service that dosn't have a responce feature.

I think asking for a BLINK tag would be both more effective and sadistic.Scintilla wrote:Telling the people, ONCE AGAIN, how they can play the freaking video, since they apparently missed the ffdshow link in my user profile AND in my video info page.SOAD2k8 wrote:Bad idea IMO, the entire point is anonimity, and what is the point in replying to an anonimous comment?

That was an animated GIF. I tried to get Adobe ImageReady to make it blink at 20 Hz, but Opera and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer would never display it that fast. I don't know whether this was due to limitations of those programs or just limitations of the GIF format: did it actually save that fast and those programs just can't display it like that, or was that too fast for the format and it got saved as "no delay" instead?godix wrote:Didn't Scintilla already try that in his sig for awhile on a different subject? I can't say I've noticed it slowing down the stupid questions any.trythil wrote:I think asking for a BLINK tag would be both more effective and sadistic.
Either way, Mozilla Firefox makes it blink rather faster, as with all animated avatars I've seen that were set to no delay.
