Llamacon - Great Barrington, MA - Feb 25th 2006

Yeah, so I alluded to it in my Mini-Con survey, and now we can announce.

Llamacon 2006 will take place at Simon's Rock College on February 25th, 2006. SRC is located in Great Barrington, about an hour north of Hartford and 2.5 hours west of Boston.

Not only will we be the first anime convention in the region, but we're going to be the first to focus 100% on fan-created content - Video rooms will screen nothing but the best AMVs, fandubs, and documentaries. Panels will focus on fanwork and creation. The Artist Alley will be huge.

And, of course, Hall Cosplay, Cosplay Chess, and a concert by Piano Squall himself.

Bump for Great Justice, online pre-registration, guest announcements, and more.

Also, we've confirmed two AMV MEP screenings - the Animix Project and AMV Hell 3. Unofficially I believe we're gonna be the convention premiere for Animasia, and will be screening a couple other MEPs as well. If you'd like your project to be screened, contact us at events@llamacon.org
