Introduction threads

I dont understand this, there area bunch of locked threads for introduction threads, but nowhere to introduce yourself. Why not put up a introduction thread where people can post just to say "Hi, I'm new here" or something like that to break the ice. Just a thought

There was one, but it got locked due to spam (and to note this was BEFORE Phade implemented that auto-lock).
