Connichi 2005 Results

Post by JCD » Wed Sep 28, 2005 3:02 pm

Originally I wanted to wait for Celes to post the full results with all positions and downloads for all videos but he said it will take some time. So I'm going ahead posting of what has most likely been the largest AMV-Contest of Europe:

1. ZEST ... hp?v=89460
1. Tormentor (tied) ... hp?v=89433
3. Sojiro ... hp?v=89493

1. PX32 ... hp?v=89564
2. Warheart ... hp?v=73640

1. JCD ... hp?v=89478
2. Imagin ... hp?v=89708
3. angelfalls
Send me an Angel (not aviable yet)

1. istiv ... hp?v=78914
2. aprileagle ... hp?v=89719
3. Robert Kim
Hexen (not aviable yet)

Special price:
for the best too short AMV which has been sent in too late (this is kind of a pun since she was co-moderating :p) :
1. xRinoa ... hp?v=89619

Those were also the finalists which have been screened in the biggest room in front of ~1000 people :D

The Race totally rocked the crowd, people went crazy clapping insanely to the massive amount of rotoscoping. All the other videos recieved great responses, too.

It was a great contest, the videos were very good, you should download them all 8-)

It was wonderful seeing this huge crowd growing even more as the contest went on. The people really freaked out at "The Race" (istiv, you can be really proud). A moment I will keep in memory for quite some time.
A very big "Thank You" to Celes who set everything in motion to get the AMV-Contest running in a very good Saturday slot in the main convention hall.

Yeah, the contest was great, even though I was kinda sick that day^^

Our Forum containing EVERY Video that participated properly can be found here:

It's german, but not that difficult to understand.
Feel free to ask, if any questions arise.

The official results can be found hidden in each threads, but it will be posted properly on within the next days (I hope^^)
