All right, I am defnitley knew to the whole AMV creation and such. I've wanted to make them for years and have finally gotten some software for it. However, I don't think I have the proper tools for getting the video.

No these clips that I would like to use are not downloaded, they are from my own dvds.

I was looked for help as to how I can go about this...in a non-techno jargen way.

I know this is probably in the wrong forum. I wasn't sure if this question should go in video software or video hardware.
