Getting DVD Quality Footage for Editing HELP!

Post by TheCreedBeast » Wed Aug 10, 2005 5:35 pm

I've been using DVDx for my AMVs up until now. It goes directly from a DVD to AVI, which is nice, but the video quality is never quite as good as I want for my videos and it too often has troubles ripping region 1 DVDs. I have DVD Shrink and would use that, but I am not very familiar with the program. What's the best way to get anime DVD to AVI format with high video quality? I really need help with this - I want to take my editing to the next level with better software and footage, but the latter of those two is giving me issues. Thanks!

If your using Adobe Premiere to edit, check out these 2 quick *visual* guides I made...

***NOTE***

In order for this to work, uninstall any other versions of AMVApp you have and install the newest version HERE

Part 1
Part 2

Hope that helps.
