I've noticed it for quite long and I think this should be corrected.

When a user registers at this site, the forum and main site user database store the same information. I hope they are the same... Why should a user relogin everytime he shifts from the forum to the site or vice versa...

They are the same; fixing the double log-in has been on the todo list for a long time :-(

hmm, maybe I should do it myself. OK, as soon as I find time I will ask to do it...what use is my programmer's membership if I don't do what I don't like on this site.
