Need help with avisynth

I have ripped a dvd to my hard drive and then made the avs that works fine when watching it but when I try to make an image sequence using virtualdub most of the images come out messed up b/c they are interlaced. So the question is how do i deinterlace the avs.

No problem. It's actually burned in my mind because I had the exact same problems a while ago.
