okay I have the xanga and I use the little thing where you click and the videos plays well I got the link from the bottom and it works for only a day and they the link is gone how do I get a perniment link to the videos here ?????????????????

you can't link directly to videos stored on the servers, you have to go through the video info page.

I think the user is trying to directly hyperlink the actual AMVs. If that's the case, you can only get the AMVs via the video information page.

you could compress'em to wmv or something... and then find some small hosting site that lets you hotlink..

The entire point of the info page is to give us some "info" on the video before we download it. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are appreciative that they are there, especially the older ones that not many people have seen.

And like everyone else has said: direct linking to the video on the .org is impossible (not really, the admins just make it seem that way). With other free, smaller file size sites, the quality is going to be complete and utter shit and the bandwidth limit is so low you'd max out your bandwidth in a matter of minutes. It's better to either pay for a site and link the hell out of it or just upload your video to the .org and pass around the info page link.

It's certainly possible, the links just expire quickly... Not only that, the download link includes your user ID, so its quite obvious who's done it.

As many others have said, please link to the video info page. That URL should be valid forever.
