Laptop Video Card Question

This is stretching it a bit for this forum, so if it's too OT feel free to lock it, but it does deal with Video Hardware :P

I'm going to be buying a new laptop here soon and have a choice between either a

64 MB ATI Radeon Mobility 9600
128 MB ATI Fire GL T2

My question is, does anyone have any suggestions as to which card would be better for playing games such as Half Life 2, MMORPGs, etc?

The Fire series seems to be geared more towards stuff like 3ds max, Maya, After Effects, etc.
I don't know if the Fire series can be used to run games, but it looks like the drivers aren't optimized for games.

The Radeon series is geared for games and the drivers are optimized for them.
