Where to host?

Where can i get a good host for my amvs?
i have only limited programs like WinEdit, and was also looking for a program to shrink the file size of my videos while losing minimum quality.
Is there a free host for audio-video type files online that anyone knows of?

oh and i wish to get more information on makin one of the graphics that link to you that appear on the top of every page on the site.

sorry to ask so much but i just found out about the forums and i have been wondering this kinda stuff for a while.
