60fps with premiere 6 ?

Post by WilLoW :--) » Fri May 20, 2005 12:18 pm

Is there a way to edit at 60fps or 50fps with Premiere 6 ?
(I mean, another way than dividing the speed of my sound by two, editing this at 25fps or 30fps, then AVISYnthing the result...)

Sadly, I don't believe so.

It seems that Vegas has a Property settings template called HD 720-60p (1280x720, 59.940 fps) (no field priority, square pixels, frame rate 59.940060). This is one of a set of high-definition (HD) templates that are in the default properties set.

I'm not sure what to do with it, but I did try dumping a series of bitmaps on the timeline. It lined them up, one per (1/60) frame. Which could lead to some interesting possibilities.
