Question and Problem with Premiere Pro

Post by §Daisuke » Sun Apr 10, 2005 1:41 pm

I have a question. In Premiere Pro you can import .gifs right?

If so then I'm having trouble. Whenever I try to import a gif this pops-up:

So i'm like: "Good it's importing" However, it doesn't it just stays like that without importing at all. I once waited 30 minutes and nothing happened so i had to click cancel. This is very important.

Secondly some of my .avi videos when i'm trying to import them this comes up:

I've tried everything and I still can't fix these problems. If you can't import .gifs then stupid me but if you can plz tell me how to fix this problem.

Try serving the clips you can't load with AVISynth's <b>AVISource()</b> instead. Or convert some of them to, say, HuffYUV.

for the AVIsynth script I'm very new to it so i was reading EADFAG and i tried the simple colorbars script however when i tried to open it, it said that Windows Media Player could not open the file. Am I doing anything wrong with the script because i followed the guide to the word.

Well, did you install AVISynth? If not, it's part of the <a href="/guides/avtech/amvapp.html">AMVapp</a>. Other than that, I have no idea.

<s>Well, in the old days, usually at gunpoint.</s>

Load the file into VirtualDubMod, set In and Out points to select the scene you want, select HuffYUV (or whatever you're using) as the <s>KOMPRESSOR</s> compressor, and save. Repeat for as many scenes as you need.
