Quick Premiere Pro question
1. How do you do a fade. Like parts of 1 clips overlaying another clip. I've tried puttin the clips on top of each other in the Timeline but only the top clip shows.
Thnx!

Make sure both clips are on the same track and are touching, then drag the cross dissolve transition to the edge between them (it doesn't show up until your mouse is over the edge).
Alternatively, you can put them in different video tracks, have the one overhang the other a little, and keyframe the top clip's opacity over the period of the overlap, from 0 to 100 or the other way around.

Opacity is one of the default clip properties... just select the clip and go into the 2nd tab on the preview screen in the top center of the page... you can add opacity sliders over time there.
