Premiere Pro HELP

I just started making AMV's and I just got Premiere Pro. It's really confusing for me and everything. I've Read <a href=http://www.a-m-v.org/guides/avtech31/>ErMaC & AbsoluteDestiny's Friendly AMV Guides</a> so i know about video, audio, compression etc. but I still need help with Premiere Pro and how to work it. Is there like a guide somewhere that will help me with the basics of Premiere Pro.

I've tried the help files but i'm still pretty confused.

try searching online guides with http://www.google.com or buy a guide book such as this

AARGH... can't find anything. Well i guess I'll just mess around with it.

I have 1 question though. I used to use WMW2 and when i imported a file it would seperate it into short 5-20 (apporoximate) second clips.

I imported a episode of Naruto in Premiere but it was one whole 29 min clip. Is there a way for Pro to seperate it into short clips so it's easier to work with or do i have to do it myself. If so then how? Thnx

sorry, you have to do it yourself. but it would help and make it a lot easier for you if you have your video planed out.
