UNinstalling WMM2 on WXP
I've been using Adobe Premiere for some time now, but I never bothered to remove WMM2. However, I have limited disk space (only 30GB) and, in order to hold all the footage I need for my current project and have some space for the Premiere export, I had to get rid of a few things. But I can't uninstall WMM2, it has no uninstaller and doesn't appear on the Add/Remove Programs list. What do I do??
And God spoke unto the Chicken, and He said: "Thou shalt crosseth the road", and the Chicken did cross the road, and there was much rejoicing.

Don't worry about it.
Even if you could rmove WMM from your computer without breaking anything (which probably is possible, if only through careful file deltion and some registry hacking - but which I wouldn't recommend), you wouldn't save very much space at all. Maybe a few megs. The bulk of WMM lies in the Windows DirectShow libraries and other such shared libraries packaged with Windows, and thus can't be removed without breaking other things (such as WMP and probably a fair number of games).
You're best off clearing off more space by writing documents and (even more importantly) any media files that aren't in use to CDs or DVDs. This is a good idea, anyhow, since files on CDs are a lot safer than files on your hard drive. If you still need more space, you should buy and install an additional hard disk. Disk space is selling for less than $1 per Gigabyte, so you can get a nice 80 GiB drive for under $80. Installation is usually pretty simple, but you might want to get help from someone local if you've never done anything with computer hardware before.

*sigh* hardware's really expensive here in Brazil, I'm afraid... I'm on notebook so I can't very well open it and install another HDD, and external hard drives here are about... (does coin exchange calculations) 4 dollars per gigabyte. And the smallest I can find is 80 gigs. But thanks, I'll keep the idea in mind. *curses Microsoft*.
