Question/Help about SmartRipper

I downloaded smartripper from someone sending the website to me^_^ thanks

I was wandering is there a way I can actually some how convert the .vob files into a format that I can use in adobe premiere 6?

[when capturing footage from dvds on my capture card I capture them at 320*240 and save them as uncompressed .avis. so .avi files are what I use the most]

because thats what video-editing program I use and I want to be able to use the files in it. So I can actually make a a high resolution video thats 720*480

the site really doesn't help me because I don't have the program that its talking about I only have smart ripper

Getting the AMVapp is recommended, as it not only includes DGIndex and AVIsynth which will help the VOB->AVI conversion, but other useful tools for AMV creation.

For a more general overview of the process of using and converting ripped footage, start from the first page of that guide AMVfreak linked:

Note the part that says: "If you are looking for the AMVapp you can get it here." and follow that link. That will get you the additional software you need to make use of your ripped footage, and the guide is excellent, but takes a good bit of effort to fully understand.

I don't think the smart ripper is really working for me I tried ripping my please teacher dvd and it seems like its not working.

I used to use smartripper, but I've found DVD Decrypter, which comes with that amv.app, to be far and away better.

As an added bonus, that guide contains instructions on how to use DVD Decrypter.
