Does this happen to anyone else?

Post by edowardo2 » Mon Oct 07, 2002 12:20 pm

I'm using, or rather trying to use, Adobe Premiere 6.0.

When I'm in A/B Editing mode if I try to import a movie or if I try to drag and drop a movie into the timeline I've opened I get this nice Error Message and Premiere Closes while if I'm in Single Track Editing mode I can import, open, and drag and drop movie, but however when I try to preview the movie It causes the same error message and Premiere Closes once again. Anyone else know what's causing this or how to fix it?

My system info is as follows
Windows XP
Pentium 4m - 1.6 GHz
256 Meg DDRAM
30 GB HD w/~20GB Free Space
hito wa shiro hito wa ishigaki hito wa hiro;
nasake wa mikata ada wa teki nari

Not to my knowledge and DAMN, I wouldn't want to edit using a WMV file...

Use virtualdub to convert the divx video to something else like huffYUV.

HuffYUV is around half the size of a uncompressed AVI file, which is still huge...

huffYUV == about 1GB/minute
