thinking of starting my own contest

I've been bored lately
I've also been out of the whole AMV thing since I've joined the military.
I was thinking of starting my own contest and having the prize be a free anime DVD from amazon.com (you choose but no sets please).
Tell me what you think?

Sounds fun.

I don't think you should conduct one, unless you are highly motivated.
Hosting an AMV contest seems to take a lot of work and preparation.

So, I've already got a good idea for an AMV and I am gathering footage as we speak..

If this little contest of yours happens, I'll enter it..

and if not, I'll have a new AMV in any case

Gonna be using Negima as the source footage. The song... is a secret

well this idea is still up in the air
of course doing it by myself will be a pain in the ass
I dunno yet
I'm still thinking of ideas and stuff
maybe ask a few people for help with it as well.
