Export Error with HuffYUY 2.2.0.1

Post by ChronoWraith » Mon Oct 18, 2004 9:15 pm

When I tried to export my new King of Bandit Jing AMV premiere decided it didn't like my video and quickly crashed. The error report claims it had to do with the HuffYUV codec. Could this have resulted from me using footage already converted to HuffYUV? I was forced to use d/l footage as this dvd is not out in america yet so i had to convert from xvid to huffyuv(using fast recompress in vdubmod) then i made my vid. I will attempt to export in uncompressed but i don't knwo if I have the HD space left for that... anyway if anyone knows what to do to fix this I would greatly appreciate it

You should be using HuffYUV 2.1.1, not 2.2.0.1. Get it <a href="http://www.neuron2.net/www.math.berkele ... p">here</a>.

So is there some problem with the newer one? I will download and install 2.1.1 now and test the exporting when i get the chance but I would like to know why i am doing this not just go and blindly change stuff like this.
