DDR Project 4 at NekoCon 7?

Post by Brakus » Mon Oct 18, 2004 10:16 am

Over the past 3 years at NekoCon, the DDR Project for that particular year has been shown. So far from what I've heard, DDR Project will NOT be shown at NekoCon.... I found that very weird because Brad DeMoss is supposed to be the MC for this year's Neko, and of course Brad was the man who first came up with DDR Project as we all know :)

Considering that Neko is 3 weeks away, it is a longshot, but I was wondering if I could have this news propogated... and that DDR Project 4 should be shown at NekoCon. I would hope that it can be shown during the convention... and if it can't, then I'll just show it in my room at the Holiday Inn for any passers-by ;-)

We're trying to get it shown at Nekocon but it's a case of getting the dvd to someone in time.

I see that it's on the (preliminary) schedule, so I guess it's a good omen.

If it's a matter of the DVD, I have already made a really high-quality DVD of the project from the file that has been on Quu's Bittorrent server. I can just get the DVD in person to whoever needs to have it (I'd think Brad DeMoss because he always attends NekoCon).

I hope you aren't referring to the XviD copy -- while it looks good it's not even close to what you could get with a good DVD encode :P

Yep.. I made an DVD from the Xvid copy for a small Anime Dance and I wouldn't use it for a con since the bit rate from the orginal will provide noticable pixilation on the screen (and this screen we used was quite small).... Best is to get the master from AD and use the other copy as a backup or just in case, but nothing more than that since some of the videos will look crapy due to all the action....
