Premiere Pro 7

Post by Ebberkenezzer » Mon Sep 27, 2004 10:02 pm

Does anyone know how to create a custom resolution setting for a project?

I know there are a few threads suggesting to export first, and use AviSynth and VirtualDubMod after. But I want to create the resolution I want first, but I am unsure how to do so.

Any help would be much appreciated.

When you run Adobe Premiere 7.0, choose Custum for the Porject Settings and put in the video resolution you want.

Choose Video For Windows to choose your custom video resolution

And you should be able to choose the width and height.

I've encountered another problem.

I set my resolution to the setting I need, but I have 2 video files that are different resolution. I set the resolution on my project so that the resolution for the smaller file would be the primary setting.

However every time I import a clip from the smaller res file, it doesn't show up on the preview or when I export it. The bigger res files work perfectly.

Further help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

easy way: select the scene in the timeline u want to work with and change the size of it, but it has to be done for every clip u use (premiere pro)

better way: resize the file with avisinth \ virtualdub and use that file instead....

I read a tutorial on AviSynth and in one of the VirtualDubMod screenshots, it shows 2 "Open" selections one of them being "Open via AviSynth" or something.

I have VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 Build 3 and AviSynth 2. When I use VirtualDubMod I don't have the option "Open via AviSynth".

Can someone please help me out yet again? Thank you for the constant advice.

In the Open dialog box of VDubMod 1.5.x, there should be a box in the lower left-hand corner that allows you to open the file via an AVISynth script. Check the box and select the appropriate loading command from the drop-down list.
