what program to use

i've made a couple of videos on WMM, and it was pretty easy to get used to. but it only made wma files, and took away form the original video quality. also it was a bit glitchy.
i got premiere 6.5 now, and holy crap it's hard. i know i don't need all of these features.

all i need is a something that has the features of WMM, but lets me make titles and put pictures in the video. needs to be easy to use too, and lets me save in more high quality formats. like avi or mpeg2.

I had the same problem. The solution VEGAS!!!! Get the trial version of 5.0 if thats not convincing BUM will convince u

i would still go with vegas 4; but i adapting to v 5 pretty well

i find vegas easier than premiere but slightly harder than ulead;; but still compared to something like after fx all the video editing programs are easy to learn
