I wouldn't call Premiere very advanced. Compared to After Effects for example it was very easy to learn. In fact when I started making AMVs I hopped straight into Premiere, and didn't find it overwhelmingly difficult.

If you really don't want to try Premiere for one reason or another, Vegas Video is a popular program among the PC crowd. And don't forget to check out the AMV Software Lists sticky on top of this forum.

My only problem with Premiere is that is lags. Hell I love Adobes advanced stuff like photoshop because i can always learn something new but with premiere it just doesnt work right. :?

You can try Ulead Video Studio 8, get the 30-day trial on http://www.ulead.com

Its like WMM2 ( very easy to use ) but with this one, youll be able to do some overlays and add some cool effects

Go for Vegas. Vegas totally rocks. Easy, relatively stable (much better than my Premiere, at least) and full of neat tricks at your mouse's reach. Talk to Bum, he'll convince you

If price is the problem, take a look at Sony Screenblast Movie Studio. We're calling it "Vegas Lite". Works the same, but doesn't have all the features. A trial version is available. Retails at $100, but can be found for less.

iether that or il die trying :P

but right now im tired, and still cut from recieving a $50 fine for not having my consesion card with me on the train. so il keep things clean and simple, without my exessive pimping.

primier pro 1.5 trial download

vegas 5 trial download

download both. spend about a week lerning and using each. then get the one you think is best.

and yes, im dead certian you'l choose vegas over premier. though download and try premier before vegas, itl only make you even more aware of how good vegas is in comparison to premier
