So I'll be reinstalling Windows, which is a lengthy process when you've got as much stuff as me, I'll need something to keep my interest, and test out my new system
I was also part way through a new Ah my Goddess video (I think it's been a total of 2 months with all the problems and delays). Rathisponge and Tseng808 seemed to like the beta so far, I think it's going to turn out well now I can edit without being limited by hardware
What am I looking for?
1:1 Opinions with each participating member.
What do you think you're doing?!
I'll be (hopefully) watching your AMV, and reviewing it in-depth based on editor's competence, overall quality, theme (if applicable) and scope of the video (if I can see that the editor got the video the way he/she wanted it)
What you need to be able to do
Download 55.9MB worth of video (56k'ers might want to reconsider)
Play 640x480 XviD encodes (AVI), preferably without stuttering, since the video can get a bit CPU intense at some scenes (probably not too bad though). This requires a minimum of either DivX 5.2, XviD 1.00 or the current version of FFDShow
If you experience playback problems or just need to optimise settings to squeeze the little extra power out, you can read a playback guide I wrote, which can be found by clicking this link
It's all about the files baby
If you have multiple quality videos, link to the best version.
Videos should ideally be AVI, WMV, RM or MOV (In that order of preference). There are other containers I am willing to accept, but as a rule of thumb, no OGG or MKV. (I doubt people use these for AMV's anyway)
Here's the catch-type-thing
I will Op your video once I have received my opinion (had an opinion go AWOL in a previous exchange, which isn't very nice
Where's it At? & What do you expect us to do?!
Watch my Kenshin AMV and leave a fair, unbiased opinion (Ie, not marking me down because the lead singer of the band killed your cat) which you can find by clicking this, or my banner below
As a little bonus
Just a bit of fun, but if anyone's video manages to make my processor usage hit 35% or more, they get a pretend cookie
