Difficulty Editing?

Do you have any specific genera's that you can't edit to?

I seem to be having a hard time trying to get a point accross in a video i'm working on just because of the fact that I can never seem to distinquise a line between just a mess of cuts in a hard line of music (just when someones jaming on a guitar and it's alot of mess).

So do any of you?

I suck at beat timing, so I don't see myself doing any heavily beat-synced videos anytime soon....well, except for the next video I have planned....

I don't know, I have yet to TRY all the genres, yet. My next one or next-next one will be a romance video, so that'll be a first.

Hardest part? The beginning, where there is nothing but 20 seconds of music playing. What should I do, show off character angles? Nah, too lame. Show off effects? Don't wanna give them away yet.

I like to edit drama, but comedy seems so be something i think i've had a hard time doing... My comedy videos in the past aren't great, but i'm trying to do a new one. Well, more like a colab with a friend of mine >.>

My style is prodominently drama. I can do action, but most of the time it ends up being a mess lol.

I'm not really comfortable with effects-heavy editing (as my RoS segment showed, I think). I don't consider myself imaginative enough to come up with stuff that looks both good and sufficiently different.
