I've been reading the manga, and there have only been 3 books released in the states. Now I know what happens to caska and gatsu at the end of the anime series, about the skull knight coming and saving them and such, but will there be a second season in store. I think it would be a very wise decision.

didnt go to the link but wat i think i might know ( i havent seen/ read all of it) but i think he just about kill himself to save some girl at the end of season 1 right im prolly wrong on this one . beserk if not at all my strongest series

At the end of season one, the anime ends where Gatsu is hacking away at his arm to get to Caska who is unfortunately raped by Griffith. Gatsu gets free and attacks Griffith with all he has, but is again stopped by one of the ecliptical monsters. What really happens is that in the manga, a character by the name of the Skull Knight comes in and saves caska and gatsu. The anime doesn't introduce this character, but he plays out to have a big role in the long run. The manga is great, and I suggest picking it up if you can.
