Pacific Media Expo 2004
Anybody going to Pacific Media Expo Memorial Day Weekend (May 29-31) in Anaheim, CA? I'm planning on going to the TM Revolution Concert and just generally hanging around since I don't seem to have anything else planned. Also I can't quite wait till Anime Expo to get my convention fix.

Personally I was kinda dissapointed. The TM Revolution concert ruled! (once it actually got started) Otherwise, the AMV showing was mostly reruns of old videos. I wish attendees would insist on seeing Tainted Donuts over and over. It's a good vid but not the only AMV to show.
Anime Trivia was a joke. The same unscripted format they used at AX (same guys moderating) Most contestants didn't know anything. (BTW if you were there I was the know-it-all sitting in the front row.)
The dealer room only had about ten boothes.
The masquerade sucked. Only maybe two good cosplays. And before that was this horrible band called Secret Secret that kept insisting we liked them. Intermission for judging that was filled by the Sailor Moon Jamboree. I've seen them several times before.
I found most enjoyment hanging in the karaoke room and sharing music with everybody else.
Overall the con was small, which is nice. For a first year con there need to be improvements in programming.
