Adding score used in top 10% to video opinion pages

Post by Ashyukun » Mon May 17, 2004 1:55 pm

Though I'm a bit late in saying this compared to when the Bayesian Average was added in to the computation for the Top 10%, I think it would be nice to have the score that each video has computed using the Top 10% formula actually on each individual video's opinion page. As it stands, there is no way to know where your video actually stands compared to the top 10% if you're not actually in it. The 'overall' is kind of useless since it is not the actual score that is being used in the ranking. I'm sure that plenty of people have looked at their 'overall' opinion score and then looked at the Top 10% page and gone, "Hey! My video has over a 9.0, and there are videos with below that on the Top 10%!". I just think it would help eliminate some confusion and just generally be nice to have the 'Score' added as a field like the 'Overall' calculation on each video's opinion pages.
