correction, it imported the one that was encoded by x-vid before but the other two it just spits back saying it is an "unrecognized compression format" when it has been UNCOMPRESSED!!

Don't know if this will help, but have you got "Always suggest RGB mode for output" selected in the HuffYUV options?

I checked it and tried but still after the decompression premiere won't import it. Would the AC3 filter cause any problems? or would that not make a difference? Because you need the AC3 Filter to view it.

Just use this to convert your video files....

http://eo-video.com

It's converting insted of uncompressing, but you're going to get bad results anyway and seeing as Vdub isn't working for you, you might as well try this.

That isn't working it says:
error can't read frame. (Err=30402 - 0)
no matterwhat I try to make it I get that.

yea im kind of having the same problem.. with an .avi im trying to use VD and its crashins saying blah blah, someone needs to put out and exact step by step. im trying to use PICvid mjpeg, i heard it was good, it worked for me before. but now its being real stupid. Like i really dont know when its converting or playing. and i got it to work once, but was still .avi and looked terrible. should i use a diff compression thingy? or what..
