Premiere of Wolf's Rain.

Post by angelx03 » Sat Apr 24, 2004 8:19 pm

Just a reminder that Wolf's Rain will be on Adult Swim tonight at 11:30 PM. Easter/Pacific. Hopefully, I could get control of the lounge area at that time so I could watch it. :?

And now at this moment, I have no control of the TV in the lounge so it's up to you guys to tell me how it went.

I was really hoping that they included the opening and ending themes, like they did for Hack Sign or Outlaw Star. After all, they're in English, so why not? Other than that, everything else was there, and the voices were good, as far as dubs go.

Meh, it was ok.

Not bad, but not spectacular.

So I'm guessing they are shape chnaging wolves? (i.e. not were wolves but wolves that can take the form of a human. Btw, if this was explained early on in the episode, I missed the first 10 minutes or so.)

Maybe, just maybe I should read the Wolf's Rain manga I have.....

Though, the magazine it was in (Magazine Z) just got a new series that's really cool.

It's called (Saber Weapon Action) Kouyani Kemono Doukokusu.
It appears to be about a guy that was given the power of all sorts of different animals. His eyes are different colors (one blue, one red) and they glow like a cat or dogs eyes in the dark. He also has fangs, very good hearing and smell, and apparently can go beserk when need be.

Good manga. But it just came out in Japan, so don't expect anything soon.
