I am embarrasingly underexposed to JPop, but I would list some of my favorites as Every Little Thing's Imademo Anataga Sukidakara and Kioku, Outlaw Star's Tsuki no Ie, Eva's Thesis of a Cruel Angel, Lain's Duvet (the acoustic version is just great), Kakimaze Kaitou Jeanne's Haruka, and, of course, Cowboy Bebop's Tank.

i like the beginning to evangelion. i dont know what it's called, but i do know that one of the singers says "yum yum"

my brother cut out her saying yum yum and looped it for like three hours. oh it was wonderful

That would be Cruel Angels Thesis....my favorite Evanglion song is Come Sweet Death/Komm Sommer Todd

I use to like the theme song to Princess Mononoke...my newest favorite though has to be one of the ones from the AMG soundtracks. I don't have a clue what it's called since teh name is so hard to pronounce. I wished I had signed up for Japanese class.

if you have never heard shaft drive i pity you.. i wish geneshaft would come out in england soon!!

I like the Japanese opening them from Yu-Gi-Oh. I think it if by Field of View.

I also like Kiseki no Umi, which is the Record of Lodoss War theme, Dan Dan from DB-GT, Spirit vs. Spirit from DBZ, The Escaflowne theme: Dance of Curse, and the theme from Princess Mononoke.

Favorites again? Hmm... The whole Outlaw Star and Noir soundtracks defenitely qualify. Evangelion's opening (and the kickarse "punked-up" remix of it) is also good. Excel Saga's OP song is good... and the Trigun OP is really nifty if you like elec guitar ^_^

Favorite, though, would have to be the Azumanga Daioh opening (followed closely by the end song) ^_^
