i am new here andI don't know a lot about anime, I mean i know what it is and I know very few anime shows/books

can anyoady tell me other anime shows/books and could you send me a link so I can find out more?

Scrapped Princess (not licensed in the US)

If you want recommendations then I highly recomend the following:

shows:
Saiyuki
RahXephon
(Inuyasha, Bebop, spirited away, and princess mononoke were already mentioned)
Yu Yu Hakusho
Fruits Basket

Manga:
Blade of the Immortal (Extremely good but it's on the raw side)
Samurai Deeper Kyo (again kind of on the mature side)

If your looking for some funny mangas, look at some Rumiko Takahashi titles: Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2

berserk is a very good anime, a bit voilent if your gonna watch berserk i recomend being +13
