The clips I'm using for my AMV are all 640 x 408. I cropped out subs with VDub, and not wanting image distortion, I decided to go for the widescreen look. However, Premiere (6.0) seems to be set so that you're forced to use one of their pre-set settings, all of which distort the images considerably. I tried for a custom setting, but none of them let you set your own resolution.
How do I get around this?
Is there a way to set my own resolution on Premiere?

I have 6.0 and can vouch this also. When you create a new project and select custom make sure you deselect the box that says 4:3 Aspect.Janzki wrote:I have 6.5 and it certainly allows you to set your own resolution, and I doubt there's that much difference between versions.
File - New Project - Custom...
Then look for Frame Size under video settings in the dialog box.
