Post by NeoLunaAngel » Tue Mar 16, 2004 2:59 pm

I am new here, so I apologize upfront if I screw this up...

I want to find the "evangelion vs nadesico" amv and I need some help.

I tried looking on this site and elsewhere and I will look again, but I'm about to give up.

Thanks. :D

It's well-documented that they can only sue people who are sharing, not people who are downloading. So, just turn sharing off, go on, and download to your heart's content...

And the courts said that the RIAA can't issue Subpoenas anymore against individuals who do share files. Verizon and some other company wouldn't release the info of the person (it's on TechTV.com, can't remember everything), and that's what sparked the courts decision. Over 1500 names are on that list, but that's only those who have Subpoenas issued against them and possible targets. There was also something about some Act that passed that protected music on the Internet, but only affected FTP sites and e-mail, and didn't include P2P, like Kazaa and Napster (original Napster).
