AnimeMusicVideos.Org is about cross-stitching video. It takes us a while to do each frame, but I hear AbsoluteDestiny can stitch 5 or 6 frames a day... one of us may even do a full video soon!

p.s. If my answer seems sarcastic it's because you're a complete and utter tool for registering without having any idea what the site's about.

Don't be a snark, Dan. He may be clueless, but atleast wait till he posts something substantatively stupid to insult him.

to the original poster:
www.animemusicvideos.org has a mission statement right on the front page. If you're still lost, read over the guides and information sections linked from that area. A few stickies from the tops of the various forums, and not only will you have learned what the hell you just signed up for, but you'll have purged your desires to hit certain members with a baseball bat.

In the future, don't sign up for stuff without checking what it is first. Especially if you're signing the contract on the hood of a car in a dark parking lot in Jersey.

Gotta start now before they spread. However, compared to most of the usual newbies here, signing up for a site without knowing what it's for is pretty damned stupid.

And I *was* kidding. We all know that AD forces Kevin to stitch those frames...

DoKool - act like that towards a new member who is asking for some honest information in a polite way again and find yourself with a nice forum ban.

wong fei hung - This site is a place for people who make fan music videos using anime footage to put their video on a database and to upload them for other people to see. New members can download videos with "direct" or "indirect" links and after two weeks will be able to access the thousands of videos hosted locally. Watch some videos and have fun.

*smits?*

Wait, I'm too much of a newb to smit...

But anyways, welcome. Aside from being able to download them, the website is also obviously a place with quite a bit to do for fans and creators alike. Everyone here can give creators reviews, marks and opinions on their videos; creators can upload their stitched wonders at will and at no charge, and there are several simultaneous systems of ranking vids. The .org also runs the Viewer's Choice Awards annualy, which is a community-wide contest of the year's best videos. That's just been completed last week and I certainly recommend you check out the winners/nominees once you get the chance.

So, yea, like the others said - it's THE donation-based, all-AMV community. Enjoy.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
