Fanime 2004 AMV rules update

Hi eveyone!!

Yea I know it took longer than expected and for that I am very sorry, but at long last the official Fanime 2004 AMV rules are here!! Currently you can download the rules at this link.

Once again Patrick Bohnet will be assisting us with submissions and technical playback for optimal viewing. We are also adding a Short/Commercial category to our line-up.

We we also be accepting Hentai AMV's for screening purposes only for our hentai room.

Get those submissions in, and be sure to read the rules carefully when you do. Good luck to all, last year was a great year and we hope that thsi year will be even better !!

I don't have DVD-R...is it possible to submit online via FTP?

Quu is currently revamping his FTP page to allow for on-line submissions,
we hope to have it up before the deadline, but as expected he is very busy with several other projects. My sugestion would be to work on an alternative to the on-line FTP submission jsut in case it is not operational in time, unfortuatley we have a shorter amount of submission time since Fanime's dates had been moved to earlier in the year.

A reminder that the deadline to submit AMV's to the Fanime Con 2004 event is May 1st. Please be sure to check out the rules at

The OtakuVideo submission site will hopefully be up prior to the deadline, but don't risk being left out of what is sure to be a great show!!

Get those videos in!!

Also remember we now have a Trailer/Short category, and we are accepting Hentai videos for a special screening.

Also thanks to Otakuvideo, you can now upload your video submission Via FTP to the site below

Please follow directions carefully when uploading your video to the site, there is a lot of information there to help you out.
Also remember that after you have uploaded your video, you must then click on it to assign it specifically to Fanime Con, it will not do this automatically.

Please note that traffic on this site may be heavy from time to time, but please be patient we are maintaining it as best we can. Be sure to get your video in soon so that we can test it and make sure it transferred properly before the deadline.
