Another (strangely) unused song....

Van Halen's "Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love"

Any song that says "You know you're semi-good looking" deserves an music video treatment.

Really, 80s hair bands don't get appreciation....

But, Anyway. Im'm sure a few ppl .. like me .. will argue the fact that 80's hairbands suckd. Some were great (Van Halen), some were not so great. Take a song u like and put Anime to it in an organized fashon. Then become the greatest AMVer known to man .. Mission Accomplished.

It's like a tuba, but not quite the same.

To be specific: The largest part of the tubing wraps around the player's body and rests on the player's left (?) shoulder; the bell faces front, on the left (?) side of the player's head. Usually only three valves. Commonly used in marching bands.

A Sousaphone is essentially a marching tuba. As Scintilla said, it is very similar to a tuba, but much of the tubing (which one would normally carry or set in front of them) wraps around the body. This body-wrapping makes the Sousaphone convenient for "wearing" while marching. I believe all the technical statistics are similar to the tuba (three valves, key of B flat, written in bass clef, etc.).

The Sousaphone was invented by J.W. Pepper in the late 1800's after he suggested the design to John Philip Sousa (the "March King", having written "The Stars and Stripes Forever", "The Washington Post", and many other marches). It was subsequently named after John Philip Sousa and has thus gotten the ill-conceived idea that Sousa not only suggested the design but also invented it.

You can find more information about the Sousaphone and the tuba family at this site.
